Janson Coffee
Janson Coffee – The story of a region, a family, and a commitment.
Founded in 1926 by Carl Axel Janson, a Swedish immigrant captivated by the volcanic landscapes of Chiriquí, Janson Coffee is now a leading name in specialty coffee in Panama.
Located on the fertile slopes of the Barú volcano, the farm has evolved from a small-scale agricultural operation into a family-run farm of excellence, now managed by the third generation. The farm cultivates prestigious varieties such as Geisha, Pacamara, Caturra, and Catuai, guided by a sustainable vision that places quality and the environment at the heart of every step of the process. The coffees are processed in traceable micro-lots using responsible agricultural practices, including solar panels, reforestation, natural soil enrichment, and sustainable water management.
But Janson Coffee is also a deeply human project that cares for the well-being of its teams through social, educational, and medical initiatives.
Combining heritage, innovation, and sustainability, the Janson family produces Panamanian coffees renowned worldwide for their purity and aromatic finesse.
