Ce lot provient de la ferme Potosí, l’un des joyaux de la célèbre Granja La Esperanza. Sous la direction de Rigoberto Herrera, pionnier de la caféiculture de spécialité en Colombie, cette ferme est reconnue mondialement pour sa qualité.

Cultivé entre 1400 et 1850 mètres d’altitude, ce Red Bourbon a été travaillé selon un process Honey. Cette méthode, qui préserve le mucilage de la cerise durant le séchage, apporte une sucrosité intense et une texture sirupeuse.

En tasse, ce profil se révèle par une structure dense et équilibrée. L’extraction magnifie la rondeur et l’acidité de la prune rouge, soutenue par une sucrosité de caramel onctueux. La dégustation s’achève sur une finale persistante de chocolat noir, offrant un résultat gourmand, puissant et fruité en attaque.

Where the legend of Granja La Esperanza begins

Finca Potosí is the historic farm of Café Granja La Esperanza, located in Caicedonia in the Cauca Valley, at an altitude of 1,400 to 1,860 meters.

Founded in 1945 by the Herrera family, it marks the starting point of the Granja La Esperanza journey. Spanning 52 hectares, the farm specializes in Natural process coffees, with controlled cherry fermentations ranging from 18 to 50 hours depending on the desired profiles. These methods yield rich and expressive coffees.

Both rooted in family tradition and oriented towards innovation, Finca Potosí embodies the heritage and consistent quality of Granja La Esperanza.
