The excellence of Ecuadorian coffee

Located at 1900–2100 m altitude in the Andean region of Saraguro, Hacienda La Papaya is a pioneering Ecuadorian specialty coffee farm, founded by Juan Peña in 2010.

A true center for research and innovation, the farm combines scientific rigor with respect for the terroir: drip irrigation, sensor monitoring, controlled drying, and a unique genetic bank preserving the most sought-after varieties (Geisha, Sidra, Pacamara, Typica, Yellow Bourbon…).

Beyond quality, Hacienda La Papaya plays an essential social role by employing the local community, particularly women, and by training the new generation of producers.

Year after year, the result remains unchanged: refined, complex, and consistent coffees, regularly awarded internationally.
