Akvo – Mineral Drops
22,00 €
AkVo is a Polish brand specializing in filtration systems and water chemistry. Their mineral drops are liquid concentrates of specific minerals. They are designed to be added to “plain” water (distilled, demineralized, or reverse osmosis water) to remineralize it to your exact specifications. The goal is simple: to create the absolutely perfect chemical composition of water for brewing your coffee.
The brand designed its system to make calculations extremely easy: 1 ml of solution contains exactly 1 mg of the specific ion used.
- Clear – Potassium Buffer with Magnesium
The most neutral option for your coffee’s flavor profile. This blend highlights the bean’s natural attributes without adding its own character. If you enjoy tasting coffee for what it is—clean, transparent, and balanced—this bottle is for you. Pairs perfectly with the blue drops.
- Pink – Sodium Buffer with Magnesium
Sodium softens and neutralizes aromas, whether pleasant or unpleasant. If your coffee has aromatic notes you don’t like, this buffer helps smooth them out. You can use it on its own or mix it with the Clear or Black bottle, without ever exceeding a total of 5 drops per 0.5 L. Examples of use: If there is bitterness or strong fermented notes, increase the dose of the pink bottle or use it on its own.
- Blue – Calcium
Calcium enhances fruitiness, adds structure, and increases clarity in the cup. In our view, it’s one of the most important ions for shaping a coffee’s flavor profile! This bottle pairs perfectly with any blend.
- Black – Magnesium
Designed to enhance brightness and acidity. It brightens the coffee’s flavor and enhances its natural acidity, even in dark roasts.
Pre-infusion recipe : 3 to 5 drops per 0.5 L of demineralized water.
