La Unión [Geisha Anaerobic Washed]

This exceptional Geisha is grown with dedication by the Esencia Pura cooperative as part of the La Unión Crop Management group, perched at an altitude of 2,100 meters in the majestic mountains of Nariño.

Grown in a unique volcanic terroir where ancestral indigenous know-how is still practiced, this coffee is enhanced by an anaerobic fermentation process meticulously adjusted to last between 36 and 96 hours, depending on the surrounding climate, before being washed. It is then gently dried under parabolic dryers for 10 to 25 days, ensuring a slow and steady reduction in moisture content.

This collaborative and meticulous effort has produced a grand cru that delivers a brilliant cup, opening with the fruity sweetness of dried apricot, blended with the floral fragrance of enchanting jasmine and the liveliness of citrus.
