Aeropress Recipe – Perfect Coffee in Just a Few Minutes

What you'll need:

  • Filter
  • Kettle
  • Grinder
  • Scale
  • Stopwatch

  • Cup or mug

RECIPE #1: THE CLASSIC


Preparation

Heat the water and grind the coffee: Heat 220 ml of water to 92°C. Weigh out 15 g of coffee and grind it finely, to a texture similar to table salt.

Prepare the Filter Place the Filter into theFilter . Rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste and preheat the device.

Assemble the AeroPress: Place the AeroPress upside down (with the plunger at the bottom) on a stable surface. Pour the ground coffee into the brewing chamber.


The herbal tea

Add the water: Tare the scale, then pour the hot water vigorously over the coffee until the total weight reaches 220 g, ensuring an even mixture.

Mix and brew: Stir the mixture for about 10 seconds. Attach theFilter the Filter to the brew chamber. Let it brew for 1 minute and 15 seconds.


Extraction

Extraction: After steeping, gently turn the AeroPress upside down over your cup. Slowly press the plunger over a period of 15 to 30 seconds, until you hear a soft "psst."

Enjoy: Your coffee is ready to enjoy. Share it with a loved one or savor it on your own. Enjoy!

RECIPE #2: CHAMPIONSHIP RECIPE


Preparation

Heat the water and grind the coffee: Heat 265 ml of water to 88°C. Weigh out 30 g of coffee and grind it in the Comandante to a 34-click setting.

Prepare the Filter Place the Filter paper Filter into theFilter . Rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste and preheat the device.

Assemble the AeroPress: Place the AeroPress upside down (with the plunger at the bottom) on a stable surface. Pour the ground coffee into the brewing chamber.


The herbal tea

Add 75 mL of water and start your timer.
At 25 seconds, stir 3 times.
At 30 seconds, begin the extraction by pressing vertically without pushing the plunger down too far.
Add 30 mL of room-temperature water and 30 mL of water from your kettle (second pour of water into the Aeropress).


Extraction

At 1 minute and 20 seconds, press for 10 to 15 seconds until you hear that familiar hiss (but really, stop as soon as you hear the air escaping).
In your Coffee Server, add a hot water bypass of 110 to 130 mL, depending on your taste. Taste it and add more little by little! Have fun!
